Everyone knows that Walt Disney World® Resort is a top destination for family vacations. However, it isn’t just for kids! There are plenty of things to do at Walt Disney World for adults. Continue reading to learn about our top 3 things to love about an Adult Only trip to this iconic Florida destination.
- EPCOT® Festivals – EPCOT celebrates nearly all year long with special festivals and events. All of EPCOT’s festivals have food and beverage booths. There are a collection of temporary, permanent, and semi-permanent booths around the park. These booths are used exclusively for added food and beverage during the festivals. They sell food and beverage items that are (mostly) unique to the festival and not available throughout the year. The offerings are snack size tastings and range in price from around $5-7. With an adult only trip to an EPCOT® festival, you can take your time strolling around the park and sampling delicious food and drink from around the world.
2. Signature Dining – Walt Disney World® Resort is known for it’s award winning rides and attractions, but it also known for it’s high class dining as well. With over 50 table service restaurants on property and over 15 of those offering signature dining experiences, you’ll be able to enjoy exquisite cuisine that will please any palate. On our most recent adult only trip we enjoyed new-to-us signature dining at Narcoossee’s and Yachtsman Steakhouse.
3. Special Events* – There are many opportunities to add a little extra Magic to your Disney World vacation. You can chose from fireworks dessert parties, behind the scene tours, fireworks cruises, horse drawn carriage rides, private VIP tours, after hours events and, more! On our most recent trip we enjoyed the Happily Ever Fireworks Dessert Party which gave us prime seating for the evening fireworks and projection show at Magic Kingdom. We also enjoyed an all you care to enjoy dessert bar while we waiting for the show to begin. Over the years we have experienced several behind the scenes tours, fireworks pirate cruise, after hours events, and so many others!

This list could go on and on just to prove that Walt Disney World® Resort isn’t a place that is just for kids. While there is no substitution for seeing the Magic through the eyes of a child, there is also a certain amount of Magic to be had when seeing the theme parks, restaurants, and special events through the eyes of an adult!
