Taste of EPCOT International Flower & Garden Festival at EPCOT is one of the best parts of visiting Walt Disney World Resort in Spring. Check out this list of 10 things adults can do to enhance the fun!
1.Take A Photo with the iconic Spaceship Earth and the limited time festival signage.
Spaceship Earth has recently had some fancy updates that you’ll want to snap some photos with. Be sure and visit the front of Spaceship Earth at night as well as day time so you can take in the majesty of the light projections at the base of the icon.
2. Find your favorite Disney Characters and wave Hello!
Your favorite Disney friends are out and about and just waiting to say hello. You may catch Goofy near Spaceship Earth, or Winnie the Pooh chasing butterflies. Keep your eyes open and maybe you’ll see a royal cavalcade pass by.
3. Shop the Festival merch!
Step into Spring with some new souvineers with all the beauty of Spring. Be sure to grab a shirt or “ears” that feature Orange Grove Travel Company’s favorite friend – Orange Bird!
4. EAT! EAT! EAT!
New Menu Items from Outdoor Kitchens are always a key part of any EPCOT Festival and this one is no different.
5. Don’t forget about your favorite EPCOT attractions.
You’ll want to take a break from the snacking and shopping to take a ride on Test Track presented by Chevrolet or soar around the world on Soarin’.
6. Check out the Goodness Garden Butterfly House Presented by GoGo squeeZ.
Walk through a garden surrounded by butterflies at The Goodness Garden Butterfly House Presented by GoGo squeeZ. This unique garden can be found in Future World West and is full of beautiful, nectar-producing flowers that attract multiple species of butterflies.
7. Experience all things Pineapple at Pineapple Promenade
Pineapple Dole Whip is well known to frequent Disney goers, but at the Pineapple Promenade you can also sample Pineapple Beer Flights and other ways to experience pineapple goodness!
8. Find and photograph “The Lion King” Topiary
The fan favorite Lion King Topiary is back and will be there to welcome you with it’s updated moss and palm fibers to bring these beloved characters to flowering “life.”
9. Visit World Showplace
New this year is Farmers Feast, which features local ingredients and a seasonal menu that currently includes the Hibiscus Lemonade Cocktail.
10. Watch Live Performances around the World
Be sure to check out the JAMMIN’ Gardeners – they are not your average gardeners! And, there are local Orlando-based bands that play live at the America Gardens Theatre on select days during the festival.
